Abstract

 December 2016, Lampung Composite CPI index increased from 127.52 in November 2016 became 128.31 in December 2016, thus an inflation of 0.61 percent.

 Based on the calculation of the rate of inflation (point to point) December 2016 experienced inflation of 2.78 percent, and inflation year on year (yoy) in December 2016 also at 2.78 percent.

 Of the seven expenditure groups, six groups experienced inflation, namely foodstuffs rose 0.47 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco rose 0.13 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose 1.42 percent; clothing rose 0.18 percent; education, recreation, and sports up 0.01 percent; and transportation, communication and financial services rose 0.61 percent. Conversely health groups experienced deflation (down 0.02 percent).
 Of the two cities in Lampung monitoring in December 2016, Bandar Lampung and Metro inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation by 0.70 percent and 0.13 percent inflation Metro.

 Inflation Bandar Lampung is ranked 23 and Metro City ranked 70th of the 82 cities observed price changes. Of the 82 cities, 78 cities experienced inflation and four cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Lhokseumawe by 2.25 percent, while the lowest inflation was in Padangsidempuan and Tembilahan 0.02 percent. Manado experienced high deflation of 1.52 percent, deflation experienced Tegal lower by 0.09 percent.

 The group housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel contributed the biggest inflation is 0.37 percent. The subgroup being the largest contributor to inflation is a subgroup of the cost of a place to stay at 0.34 percent.
