Workshop on District/City Labor Data in Lampung Province

On November 23 and 24 2023, North Lampung Regency BPS participated in the Regency/City Workforce Data Workshop for Lampung Province at the Emersia Hotel Bandar Lampung. This activity was attended by employee representatives from each district/city BPS throughout Lampung Province. Apart from that, to increase collaboration between agencies in improving labor data, this activity was also attended by representatives of the Lampung Province Manpower Office.

This activity was opened by the head of the Provincial BPS, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, who discussed, among other things, strengthening teamwork in each agency. "Sectoral matters must be discarded and team matters must be improved," he said. He also mentioned improving quality data from each city district, especially employment data. "Apart from that, this workshop also aims to improve and harmonize understanding and knowledge regarding labor data and the importance of its existence in making economic policies in Lampung Province," he said.

This activity discusses various subjects of labor and population data, starting from the presentation of material on mathematical methods of population projection by Reny Andriati SST, M.E, M.I.D.S. Then, presentation of material regarding the relationship between employment data and other macro indicators and also material regarding district/city minimum wages by Gun Gun Nugraha S.Si, M.S.E. Apart from that, there is material regarding the calculation of labor indicators presented by the representative of BPS RI, Heykal SST.
